Getting Ready!

I can't believe it!!!! 4 more days until we leave for our first cross country trip!

Here are our plans, so be sure to follow along, I'm going to hopefully be able to blog throughout the trip with pictures of each state, and how much Guido and I are loving each other/hating each other.

PLUS I have a little craft project I am doing along the way... ;o)

November 30 - San Diego - Phoenix (Visit with the Bird Family!) Estimated Time Traveled: 5.5 hours
December 1  - Phoenix - Tucson (Visit the gorgeous R. Cella!) ETT: 2 Hours
December 2 - Phoenix - Dallas (Visit the Wares!) ETT: 14 hours, holy shit!
December 3 - Dallas - New Orleans ETT: 8 hours - pretty sure we won't sleep this night
December 4 - New Orleans - Cherry Point ETT: 15 hours
December 5 - Cherry Point -
December 6 - Cherry Point (Keep your fingers crossed we can find a house!)
December 7 - Cherry Point (Keep your fingers crossed we can find a house!)
December 8 - Cherry Point - Winston-Salem (Visit with the Norwood fam!) ETT - 4.5 hours
December 9 - Winston-Salem
December 10 - Flying home to LAX

Just mapping that out is making me exhausted, but I am excited to see the country and be able to add all those states to the "places we've been" game. Every year we make a list of all the places we have been, so far Guido wins every time! Damn him for being in the military and being able to add so many countries!

I am hopeful to get pictures with the following "Welcome to ___" state signs!

4. Louisiana
5. Mississippi
6. Alabama
7. Georgia
8.South Carolina
9. North Carolina

This trip should be fun, hopefully, because the next one we do will be with a U-Haul pulling my mini and sitting in the cab with 2 dogs...Whose bright idea was that!
